Erie, PA Sep 05, 2008 - Specialty Products Street Stocks - Carl Marcy sweeps the checkers tonight winning in both heat and feature races. Getting to the front and putting it on the bottom looked to be the lane prefered by the leader who was not about to give up the bottom side of the speedway.
Glover Trucking and Gravel Super Sportsmen - Chris McGuire in his #1 machine visits victory lane for the second time this season. Mcguire had to fend off the other heavy hitters in the division as they battled to get that top position and lock in their position for the points battle.
Akerly Concrete Limited Late Models - 2008 points champion, Wade Slaney once again takes his #27 machine to the checkers from spanky Hall capping off what was a winning season for the Slaney Team.
Roberts Trucking Super Late Models - Chris Hackett dominating the high side in the past few weeks slips to the top side yet once again capturing the lead and motoring to another feature win. Hackett was followed by Andy Boozel, Bump Hedman, Matt Urban, and Andy kania to round out the top 5. 2 violent accidents left points leader Doug Eck out of contention for the points championship as well as Jason Morell who got out of shape entering turn 3 and was overturned collecting the #4 machine of Merle Terry. Both Drivers were transported to the hospital but were said to be ok and alert.
King of the Hill - Jason Dupont's number 7 machine twisted around the high side of the speedway narrowly missing Andy Kania's #76 machine after brushing the wall and sweeping across the front stretch. Dupont was able to collect his machine and drive to the victory in the 5 lap dash. Plyler Overhead Door E-mods - Jack Young from Thompson Ohio takes the win in the e-mod feature event for the second consecutive week. Young who is known for twisting his motor and 3 wheeling on the high side of the speedway kept all 4 on the ground running low side keeping the 92 machine of Joel Watson behind him for the remainder of the 20 lap feature event.
Mill Run Collision Super Challengers - Kyle Jackson once again takes the checkers from Spanky Hall this season. Jackson has put on quite a fight in the second half of the season capturing top ten finishes consistently.
